Throughout each episode we’ll dissect a given topic, be it a director, actor, genre, studio, or even just a single movie that we really want to deep dive. And the way we really break down each topic is through a series of rankings, usually in the form of a ”top five,” ranging from serious film criticism to whimsical anecdotes. And finally at the end of each episode, we have our main top five list, which we have deemed the short list. Come for the short list and stay for the long list. Nothing we say will ever be the end all be all. On the contrary, we hope it will encourage similar conversations with you and your friends. Josh and Jack are joined by their good friend, Alex Ford in the episode. We all brought five movies to the table that we find to be interesting adaptations from their original source. We had a lot of fun with this one, it went all over the place, and it's certainly not a short pod, but we hope you have fun with it.
